Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution (BRLSI) is an independent treasure, an educational charity and a welcoming cultural community hub in the heart of the city, promoting science, literature and art through cultural activities within the community.
BRLSI runs low-cost talks, events, exhibitions, youth education projects all year round at the Queen Square HQ. They also maintain a rich geographical and ethnological collection of world renown and importance; the permanent collection is open and free to visitors.
The beautiful grade one Georgian building overlooks one of the most picturesque squares in central Bath and the institution hires different sized rooms to suit all purposes, from meetings to special events at a genuine historical setting. As BRLSI is a cultural and educational charity, discounts are offered for other charitable, educational or health foundations.
